Responsibilities
Manage a direct and indirect staff of Industrial Engineers and Sr. Analysts. Manage and oversee 2 data collection teams, total of 10 persons. Maintain working relationship with technology partners and basic knowledge of infrastructure. Ability to interpret and design user requirements for product enhancements. Plan and manage technology implementation to workgroups throughout the airports system. Perform analysis of staffing requirements and corporate staffing plan to ensure adequate resources are planned. Oversee data collection of time and motion studies on passenger, ramp and cargo operations at the hub. Perform validation analysis of staffing parameters. Perform ad-hoc analysis as directed. Calculate staffing requirements for the T/OPS and Cargo groups, through analysis of the flight schedule, historical data and measured parameters to generate employee work and vacation schedules utilizing the staffing software suite. Build simulation models to identify operational/customer impact as well as best practices. Monitor the dynamic personnel allocation process to determine operational trends and formulate action plans to better utilize personnel resources. Interface with all levels of employee groups. This individual will maintain and cultivate strong relationships with the Operational Departments at the Hub, as well as Corporate Staffing. Build budget for Field engineering needs including hardware, software licenses, and travel budget.
Qualifications
BS Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience. 2- 5 years airport management experience or the equivalent. Must be proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must be proficient with Simulation packages, preferably ARENA. Project Management skills and/or equivalent work experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of airport agent work rules, policies and procedures is a plus. Experience with Staffing software preferred: StaffPlan, StaffManager, CargoPlan. Must be able to travel as needed. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
