Responsibilities

Resolve trip assignment conflicts due to irregular operations, covering open flying with qualified pilots and flight attendants. Monitor and troubleshoot crew member check-in. Assist crew members with hotel and ground transportation issues in EWR. Provide an airport communications center / point of contact in EWR for all Continental crew members. Monitor crew member schedules for legalities and conflicts, modifying pairings as needed. Interact with SOCC, Flight Operations, airport personnel and related departments. Plan ahead to resolve and react to reserve coverage shortfalls. Locate and advise crew members of changes to their flying assignments.

Qualifications

BA degree or equivalent work experience (5 years). Previous airline industry experience (preferably in scheduling or related department). Awareness of Federal Aviation Regulations and Collective Bargaining Agreements a plus. Computer knowledgeable. Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Multi-task oriented and able to prioritize work load in a stressful environment. Must be able to work any/all shifts (24-hour/7-day operation). Emphasis on punctuality and attendance. Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
