Responsibilities

Notify and communicate the status of aircraft that are out of service or on a maintenance delay to Maintenance Control and Local Operations. Initiate and update TOCs  logs on all aircraft that are out of service, in a planned hold or have significant maintenance activities on going. (TOC's is the computer program Continental uses to track out of service aircraft.) Receive and coordinate the recovery of maintenance reports initiated by inbound and outbound flight crews. Enter delay reports as per the GMM (General Maintenance Manual). Coordinate and track the recovery of scheduled deferred items for completion of proper deferral. Coordinate station supplier requirements that are required to support maintenance activities. Coordinate and track planned maintenance efforts for thru' flight and RON (Remain Over Night) maintenance. Identify and order part/tooling as required in order to support aircraft recovery. Identify and communicate maintenance troubleshooting and repair procedures as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications FAA A&P certificate. Three years line maintenance experience on company type aircraft. Thorough knowledge of SCEPTRE, SONIC, MEL(Minimum Equipment List) and GMM (General Maintenance Manual) a plus. Good communications skills - both verbal and written. Shift work required. Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal service clearances. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
