Customer Service Agent Part-Time Chuuk

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal. Responsible for loading and unloading baggage, cargo and mail. Ensuring the safe and secure movement of cargo through the warehouse and to the aircraft.  Must maintain a working knowledge of all manuals, tariffs, standards, procedures and reference materials. Verify cargo by count, with, dimensions and condition of all pieces; ensure proper and clear labeling of all pieces in the shipment (outbound/inbound), as well as placing shipments in correct destination zones. Security Screen baggage and passengers. Assist with cabin inspections and cleaning, lavatory services. Perform other duties as directed by station management to provide customer service support.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED). Must be able to successfully pass a physical examination, drug test, fingerprint based criminal history records check, and 10-year security background check. Security Screening qualified with pervious terminal operations experience preferred. Must be able to perform all essential functions on the job including the ability to lift, stand, walk and bend while lifting up to 100 lbs. Must be willing and able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment with high noise levels and all climatic environments. Must have the ability to operate heavy machinery (i.e. forklift). Must possess excellent customer service skills and typing ability of 20 wpm. Must be willing to do shift work including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be eligible to work in the Federated States of Micronesia without a company sponsored work permit.  Must be able to travel to the U.S. and/or its territories.
