Job Description

AIRCRAFT FLIGHT / MISSION / SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER

Work with a dynamic team responsible for the new commercial aircraft flight testing, as well as other current programs. As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of test planning, instrumentation, data acquisition, airplane test configuration, airplane scheduling, test sequencing, on-board test conduct, post-test data validation, and test reporting to support design engineering and FAA/EASA certification of the airplane and all airplane systems (Aero, Stability & Control, Propulsion, Mechanical & Electrical, Avionics, Structures)

Job Requirements


  • Must have previous testing experience
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work with design engineering, test pilots, vendors, and management with a positive, working together, get-it-done attitude
  • Should have a strong knowledge of vehicle testing, and be willing to learn the specific systems associated with the test airplane


  • Requires educational credentials meeting the classification standards for an engineer. BSAE, BSME, BSEE preferred
