Responsibilities
Daily visits of multiple and independent travel agents, located in the sales area. Maintain the business relationship with the contracted corporate clients and give follow-up on all possible travel issues that occur with this company during the day to day operation. Prospect potentially new corporate clients/niche markets, service and represent Continental (CO) locally for multi-national corporate accounts. Communicate with the involved multi-national sales manager. Analyze monthly sales figures per client and discuss the results with the involved person in order to increase market share and revenue numbers. Prepare and give product presentations to TMC's. These activities could take place during office hours and lunch times but may also occur during after-office hours and weekends. Help analyze the monthly audit reports for your agent groups. Prepare corporate pricing request sheets for locally corporate business and coach class contracts. Pro-actively give input to management about market changes, and comments.
Qualifications
Tri-lingual : Dutch, French and English (read, speak and write). Experience in the Belgian travel industry; market knowledge about the ins and outs is required. Eager to represent and sell CO amongst the travel trade and corporate market. Open and honest communicator - team player. Drivers licence needed. Good knowledge of basic MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Achieve profitable sales revenue for sales territory and/or portfolio of clients (TMC's + corporates). Must be legally authorized to work in Belgium for any employer without sponsorship.
