Responsibilities

Responsible to all users within the European region for computer and software applications. Responsible to keep all IT services functional. Perform upgrades to software, firmware and hardware as required. On rotation call for after hours. Will be required to travel (must have passport and drivers license). Responsible to manage, track and resolve incidents as logged by Continental's fault logging database. Responsible to track, update and assign assets in Continental Asset Data Base.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and MS Office Suite. Able to diagnose faults within these systems. Able to install a PC, laptop with latest Operating Systems (XP and Vista) using WDS, RIS or CD. Knowledge of imaging software. Able to install and troubleshoot for faults on network and local printers. Understanding of network, router, switches, hubs and cable connectivity. Understanding of TCP/IP. Ability to work and communicate with others. Able to work independently. Qualified to Microsoft MCP or similar would be advantage. Educated to least A level standard. Must be legally authorized to work in United Kingdom for any employer without sponsorship.
