Degree(s), Certification, Professional Training or Skills Required:
•Positive track record in all facets of aviation materials and part support.
•Must be familiar utilizing work order software, maintenance tracking software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
•Working knowledge of shipping regulations and industry best practices.
•Must be familiar with purchasing processes, shipping and receiving, and warranty administration.
Job Description:
•Will negotiate, oversee and manage the acquisition of materials, parts and services including the administration of warranty, parts programs and consignment agreements in support of the maintenance requirements for XOJET’s Part 135 fleet.
•Will manage programs and systems to ensure all maintenance scheduled on fleet aircraft conforms to the standards set forth in XOJET manual requirements, Federal Regulations, and Industry best practices.
•Will ensure timely scheduling of materials in order to ensure effective fleet availability and reliability.
•Will be responsible for stocking levels, vendor relations, proper accounting of transactions, hazmat control and management and warranty administration.
•Will be designated as a Delegated Inspector by XOJET, which is considered a ‘Safety-Sensitive’ position. The responsibility is to qualify aircraft product as suitable for installation on our aircraft, and to determine serviceability of aircraft components.
•Has responsibility of maintaining a safe work environment and reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
Experience Desired:
•10+ years previous experience in Aviation Materials Management.
•4 year degree in Business, Aviation Management or related filed or additional experience in lieu of degree.
