QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR, Teterboro, New Jersey:
Responsible for ensuring all products are in full compliance with applicable FAA regulations through inspecting and assessing incoming and outgoing aircraft parts and related material.
* Report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
* Assist personnel in the receiving area in determining the impact of maintenance (chapter 5) /overhaul requirements.
* Enter shelf-life and service-life information into database and monitor impact on warehouse stock.
* Validate parts by electronically pre-qualifying and issuing EASA Form Ones airworthiness documents.
* Assist shipping area to assure that proper airworthiness documentation accompanies all parts prior to shipment.
* Monitor tooling for condition and periodic calibration requirements.
* Perform tooling conformity inspections.
* Work with Account Representatives to resolve any discrepancies regarding customer-returned stock.
* Work schedule is consistent and has second shift hours. Monday through Friday 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM and one Saturday a month from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* FAA A&P license with 2 to 4 years of Quality Assurance Inspection experience or Quality Administration/ Control experience in aircraft or aircraft component maintenance
* Familiar with FAA regulations for parts procurement, documentation, and traceability.
* Experience with the use of aircraft or component illustrated parts catalogues with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
* Clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal to handle correspondence with both internal and external customers.
* Experience with ISO 9002 certification is a plus along with technical proficiency with business jet parts and components for the maintenance, overhaul, and manufacture or business jets.
* Ability to work 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Monday-Friday) and one Saturday every four weeks on a rotating basis from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

* Overall compensation range of $45k to $55k depending on experience.
