Regional Service Manager

Degree(s), Certification, Professional Training or Skills Required:
•Previous turbine maintenance.
•Airframe and Powerplant Certificates (A&P)
•Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning, oversight processes and practices.
•Knowledge and experience utilizing work order software and maintenance tracking software.
•Working knowledge of FAA Regulations and Industry best practices.
•Know and understand Part 135 Inspection/Maintenance Programs.
•Have an understanding of the warranty requirements of the base aircraft.
Job Description:
•Reports to the Director of Maintenance Part 135.
•Responsible for the tracking, scheduling, and completion of the maintenance requirements for XOJET, Inc.’s part 135 fleet based at the VNY’s Location.
•Will make sure all maintenance performed on the based aircraft conforms to the standards set forth in XOJET, Inc. manual requirements, FAA Regulations, and best Industry Practices, (The Maintenance Standard.)
•Ensure timely budgeting and scheduling of maintenance in order to ensure effective fleet availability and reliability.
•Required to interface with flight crews to determine the discrepancy status of the aircraft.
•Will perform day to day maintenance, troubleshooting, parts ordering and discrepancy rectification. Responsible for understanding Minimum Equipment Lists and RVSM manuals.
•Guarantee aircraft status forms and documents required by XOJET, Inc. GMM are accurate and current.
•Ensure tracking systems are brought up to date following the completion of maintenance.
•Will maintain all technical date and logs necessary to ensure compliance with XOJET, Inc. Maintenance Standard as well as FAA Regulations.
•Work with approved Vendors to ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed in a cost effective, timely manner and to the XOJET, Inc. Maintenance Standard.
•Has responsibility of training and maintaining safety practices with all staff members.
•Have managerial responsibility for any direct reporting employees.
Experience Desired:
•5 plus years experience maintaining turbine powered aircraft in Part 135 turbine operations is preferred.
A successful person in this position is one who…is one who can interpret XOJET, Inc. policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements and develop plans appropriate to the tasks associated with this position. Candidate should be able to lead and motivate others in the performance of job requirements.
